a warning that this might turn out to be a really long post. It’s something that’s really making me angry at the moment. I have a lot to say.

Ok, so we all know that this One Direction fandom is split into three categories:

• the people who stand by them with everything they do (aka the greatest people you will ever meet) {they’re also quite funny and banterous, just in case you were wondering}
• the people who like to have their opinions about what happens
• and then there’s the people who claim to be fans but start rumours, cause drama and pretty much make the whole fan base look like dramatic little babies in front of everyone else. 

I have no idea what compels people to start drama, all I know is that the majority of this drama is disgusting and its cyberbullying. Because the majority of the drama is, and I’m pretty sure you’ve guessed it already, hate towards the boys’ girlfriends, friends, family, and even the boys themselves. It frustrates so many people. We can hardly go a day without somebody telling Danielle she’s ugly, or complaining that Louis is rude to fans, or making some comment about something that has nothing to do with them. When are these people going to get that sending hate to someone isn’t going to make them love you. What, you think if you tell Danielle she’s a slut Liam’s going to dump her and marry you? Are you stupid? 

What is the actual purpose of it, I really don’t understand. Our job is to buy their albums, their merch, their concert tickets, send them perverted tweets they’ll never see, try our hardest to get followed by them, watch their videos, and just support them. We’re their fans. Not their parents. Not their managers. We have no say in what they do in their personal lives. At all. 

But, you know. People still do it. Something in their mind compels them to make the person we’re meant to be supporting and loving feel like crap. 

Firstly, Danielle. She was the first steady 1D girlfriend. And I’ve seen a lot of shit she’s had to go through. Like:

• the usual. ‘you’re ugly’, ‘you’re a slut’, ‘why does Liam like you?’ ‘stop stealing my man’.  — I have a feeling most of this comes from dramatic twelve year olds and under who found out about One Direction yesterday. And what I love about Danielle are her responses to these things cos, bloody hell, they’re really entertaining. She has more sass than Louis William Tomlinson sometimes, and that is a hard title to win. But even though she might come across as cool and indifferent to it all, we have no idea how she feels when she sees it. We know she’s gorgeous and amazing, and we all want to be her, but she might not. And it annoys me so much that people keep doing this. It reflects badly on all of us. 
• attacking her career. people obviously realised the other tweets weren’t getting to her so they tried a different angle. Telling her that she’s only gone far in dancing because of Liam. Definitely the most horrible thing I’ve ever read. It’s one thing to tell her you don’t like her, or that she’s ugly or whatever, they’re bad enough - but tearing down something she’s worked hard at for years, tearing down her passion? That is lower than the lowest of low. Lower than how Niall wears his pants. Obviously these idiots haven’t seen Danielle dance because she is phenomenal and to say that she’s only getting far because of Liam is so stupid. Half the recruiters in that industry would hardly know who Liam was, apart from that he’s in a boy band. They wouldn’t hire someone based on who they date, because if they’re a crap dancer, it’ll reflect badly on them too. So logically it doesn’t make sense anyway. 

I’d just like to stop here for a sec and say that obviously I’m not generalising the whole fandom here. It’s a small itty bitty nitty tiny smidgen widgen of a margin of people that are doing this. I just need to write this.

Ok next. Eleanor. First thing I’d like to say here, is Eleanor is not a model. Louis said it. She said it. She works at Hollister, the people who work there are called floor models because they wear their clothes. Don’t get me wrong, she could be a model, but I’ve noticed that people find ways to criticise the boys saying they only date models and dancers and celebrities. So. Yeah. She’s not. She’s just a normal girl like the rest of us. 

I haven’t seen as much hate to Eleanor as I have to Danielle, but the one thing that really drives me up the wall is the beard thing. Can we please get something straight here. Larry Stylinson is not real. It was a joke, a bromance, like Niam or Zarry or Ziall. They’re not gay. Some people have it in their heads that management have this whole conspiracy going on. That if there’s a Larry moment, they have to bring in Eleanor quickly, or make up a rumour that Harry’s dating someone so they can cover up that they’re gay. 

Come. On. 

Like, seriously, one blog even made up stories that they, ‘pretended to have Larry evidence, because they’d heard about another girl who did have evidence and management tracked her down and threatened her to not post it.’ So then they pretended to have evidence as well, and apparently they got messages from a ‘close friend’ of the boys saying let them come out in their own time, and then apparently management called one of the girls’ mobiles! Wow! Management tracked down their mobile phone number in Australia from a tumblr account? I don’t even think the FBI or the CIA can do that tbh. And then they apparently threatened to take legal action and sue if they released the photo, and offered them moneyI to destroy it. 

GIVE ME A BREAK! They’re some British management company, not the Secret Service. 

So, basically, sorry I’ve gone a bit off track here, basically so many people are convinced that Harry and Louis actually are together. And that Eleanor is just a beard, a cover up.

I can’t even imagine how that would feel. She’s 19 for god’s sake and she’s got people telling her that she’s being paid to appear in public with Louis and act like his girlfriend to cover up that he’s actually gay? Never mind how stupid that is, it’s just plain rude! You’re insulting her by saying that, I don’t know if you know, but you are. Just stop. 

Next: Perrie. This is the one that gets me the most riled up because I’m actually a fan of Little Mix, and when people insult Perrie about things they don’t even know? Oh my god. The main things they’re saying are:

• Perrie dumped Zayn before he was an international superstar and now she wants him back. I’ll say it again: give me a break. You don’t even know anything! Correct me if I’m wrong, but the Zerrie rumours started in the middle of X Factor last year, which was I think November/December. So, um. Already there’s a flaw in your little conspiracy theory - Zayn was already an international superstar then darlings. That rules out half your argument. Also.. if the magazines were right - Perrie had a boyfriend at that time. So obviously she wasn’t going to date Zayn if she had a boyfriend. Obviously she didn’t dump him because he wasn’t famous. Get over yourself. 
• Zayn said he likes a girl with brown hair and who doesn’t wear much make up. Perrie is neither.  Okay so this is the most immature and ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Firstly, the big issue with this fan base is that people take one thing the boys say and take it as gospel. Just because Zayn might have said once that he likes brunettes, doesn’t mean its become law that he has to date brunettes and brunettes only. And it certainly doesnt mean that Perrie isn’t right for him because she has blonde hair! There’s more to a relationship than hair colour for god’s sake. Second, where actually is your audio or video evidence of Zayn ever saying that?! I personally don’t recall him saying he prefers brunettes, in fact whenever any of the boys are asked that question they say both. 
  Next, the makeup thing. Right. Perrie wears makeup. So Zayn shouldn’t date her? Jeez. See, Perrie is in this band, right? She’s a performer, yeah? So she has to do this thing called wearing makeup for TV appearances and performances and photo shoots and red carpet events. It’s part of the job. ZAYN WEARS MAKEUP TO THOSE THINGS TOO OH MY GOD!!! Every single celebrity I know wears makeup. To say that Zayn shouldn’t date Perrie because she wears makeup.. thats more juvenile than the hair comment. 

Basically, you can’t say anything to me about Zerrie that I won’t return with an argument. Perrie is perfect and so is Zayn so .. what’s wrong with the relationship? Nothing. THE BOTTOM LINE IS YOU DONT HAVE A SAY IN ANYTHING. When are people going to understand that? The boys don’t actually give a shit what you say when it comes to who they date. Do you actually think Zayns going to see your tweet saying ‘oh, zayn shouldn’t date perrie, she wears makeup and he said he doesn’t like girls who wear makeup’ and go, ‘oh yeah, thats right. i don’t like girls who wear makeup. sorry pez, this little fan here said i can’t date you so its over.’

Yeah. Sounds stupid doesn’t it. 

Perrie and Zayn are happy together. Leave them alone.

Danielle and Liam are happy together. Leave them alone.

Eleanor and Louis are happy together. Leave them alone. 

Again, I want to say I’m directing this at a tiny minority. Most of us are beautiful to the girls, we adore them. All three of them are three of my role models (and they’re on my best-friend-to-be list). 

Okay next is even more ridiculous then the girlfriend hate, because at least their girlfriends are actually able to date them, which means you can’t. 

THEIR FAMILY.

It really boggles my mind why people send hate to their family.

Like Anne? Harry’s mum? YOU IDIOT, THAT HILARIOUS LOVABLE ADORABLE AMAZING PIECE OF HEAVEN ON EARTH WOULDNT BE HERE IF IT WASNT FOR HIS BEAUTIFUL MOTHER. Why on earth is anyone hating on her?????? Seriously! I don’t even know what they would say to her.. 

And all Niall’s cousins too, like Emma (although that turned out to be a misunderstanding, because she never got any hate) but I still see nasty comments. And Lottie and Fizzy as well, people comment mean things on their instagram photos too. 

AAAAANYWAY. Onto the final most angering thing. 

When people send hate to the boys.

People. These boys are meant to be your idols. Your role models. You’re meant to support them no matter what. 

Saying things like ‘the boys have changed,’ or ‘they don’t care anymore’ are just stupid and dumb and you’re opinion is so irrelevant and you just need to go and leave. They care. And of course they’ve changed. It’s been two years since they got put together, it would be weird if they stayed exactly the same. You can’t expect them to act like retards all the time, because they’d lose credibility with other celebrities and managers and people that can boost their career. They’re happy, and for god’s sake, stop saying they need a rest - they love what they do and they’ll rest when they want. They do get a say in what they do, believe it or not. Management don’t dictate their every move. 

OK. So I think I’m done for now. It’s really late now, this took longer than I thought it would but I just really needed to get this out. Obviously its too much for a tweet.. lol but yeah if you have anything else to say you can message me here. If you disagree with anything, just tell me, I’m not going to jump down your throat.. there is a possibility I got things wrong because it’s midnight and i’m tired, so please tell me if I have. Also, this is just my opinion. So yeah. No hate. Cos that was what this whole rant was basically about was no hate.

Clearly, fans have not learned from the incident in France back in February. The girls who mobbed Liam and Niall today don’t even have the right to be called fans because what they did is totally disrespectful. I get they we’re excited and weren’t thinking about what they were doing but come on, have some self control. Next any of the boys go out on a day off, they’ll have as much security as Mr. Tipton or the President of the United States.

Now the rest of the fandom has to apologize for those girls mistakes by trending #WeLoveLiamAndNiall and Liam and Niall on Twitter.
